Kate and Gary became husband and wife at the Thornton Manor in Cheshire one sunny August afternoon. After Gary proposed in Milan (I know, right? Milan!!) these two were keen to get back to marry one another and what a day it turned out to be! These two lovelies are just made for each other and it definitely showed on the day. There were laughs, kisses, jokes and lots of fun in the gorgeous all-day-long Cheshire sunshine. Kate looked amazing in her incredible sequinned dress made by Adele Howarth-Winstanley; she wore it so well and really made it her own. The whole day took place at Thornton Manor, from the ceremony and champagne reception in the Georgian dining room through to the wedding breakfast and party dancing in the gorgeous music room. It really is a fab looking venue - the spectacular wall paneling, elaborate plaster work, carvings and period paintings by Giovanni Cipriani are just breath taking - very well chosen indeed Kate and Gary! We explored the gardens and grounds (which are equally as impressive as the interior of the house by the way) for our lovely golden hour portrait session, and these two were complete naturals in front of the camera. The portraits were beautiful and Kate and Gary were keen to make the most of what little time we had to take them. We then danced into the night and had a wonderful party. Thank you so much to both of you for having me along to shoot your big day, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and can’t wait to go back to Thornton Manor, I absolutely love Cheshire and it’s countryside. Here’s a handful of some of my favourite images from the day - enjoy!
