Connie & Jamie had an amazing London wedding in September with their service taking place at Hackney Town Hall followed by a reception (and what a reception it was!) at MOTH Club round the corner. It was an absolutely amazing day and you just have to look at the photos for evidence!
Connie got ready with her Mum and bridesmaids at the Town Hall Apartments in Hackney before making their way to the Town Hall where Jamie was waiting with all the guests. They married in the atrium with it’s huge skylight and all the beautiful natural light that comes pouring in through. The ceremony was to die for, there were laughs, tears, beautiful and heartfelt readings by their friends and family members before we headed out onto the steps at the front for some photos and confetti. After lots mingling and hugging from their exhilarated guests and family members, the three of us popped round the corner for a sneaky pint before making our way to MOTH Club.
The reception that ensued at MOTH Club was such an incredible experience. Usually a live music and comedy venue, it plays host to the more left field entertainment: bingo nights, karaoke, game shows and cabaret and all under one incredible glittered ceiling, what’s not to love?!
Once seated we ate delicious Lebanese mezze interspersed with some amazing speeches and the odd bout of dancing on the tables, it had to be seen to be believed. After food the dancing continued into the night and MOTH Club really came to life. We had an incredible seven piece soul band who kept the dance floor full while the bubble machines were blowing hard! A pizza delivery brought the energy needed to see us through to the early morning. What a day, I don’t need to say anything else other than a massive THANK YOU to everyone involved and especially Connie & Jamie for being so fabulous throughout!
