Emma & Richard's Shropshire wedding ceremony took place at St. Peter's Church in Upper Arley and the reception at the fabulous Mill Barns Wedding Venue just up the road in Alveley. It was a gloriously sunny June afternoon and the entire wedding was spectacular. Emma and her team of bridesmaids wore matching personalised dressing gowns as they were having their hair and make up done in the morning, and Emma looked incredible in her dress as she revealed it for the first time. It was a very stylish affair as Richard scrubbed up very well in his suit along with his best men. The ceremony was lovely and intimate, even though Emma kept her guests waiting as she mistakenly left the rings at the venue (fortunately she realised before she stepped inside the church!) The lovely couple said their vows and walked down the aisle to a fun-filled confetti reception. We then headed back to the Mill Barns for the rest of the day and it was just a perfect setting. It was my first time at this particular venue and I really hope to be back soon as it had everything I look for: amazing grounds and gardens with fab views over the surrounding countryside, an amazingly spacious reception hall where Emma & Richard had their wedding breakfast with their many guests, and a wonderful staff who looked after myself and the guests with great care. Emma’s sisters performed a song they’d written as part of the speeches and as a result there wasn’t a single dry eye in the house! The big surprise that only the couple and myself knew of however were the singing waitresses who broke into song immediately after dessert and had guests of all ages dancing on the chairs and tables with napkins swinging everywhere - they really did bring the party! We then snuck off into the gardens for a lovely golden hour portrait session where Emma & Richard rocked the modelling and were true naturals in front of the camera. Later in the evening was a fantastic band who kept the dance floor filled all night and we finished off outside with some sparklers to see the night off. An all round awesome day and I was so pleased to capture it all. Thanks for having me!
