In June of this year Hayleigh & Sam married in the beautiful Kent countryside at the parish church of St Edmund King and Martyr in West Kingsdown, a beautiful stone built eleventh century church in a unique woodland setting. Both bride and groom are keen car racers so their rides to the ceremony were quite something - Sam arrived in a fabulous vintage Bentley Blower racing car while Hayleigh was chauffeured by her dad in his eye-catching red Jaguar E-Type. Our bride was absolutely stunning in her white wedding dress which brought a few tears to those in the church as she walked down the aisle to meet Sam.
Their ceremony was beautiful and even attended by their beloved cockapoo who also posed for some photos after. We threw confetti in the church yard after the ceremony and took some family group shots as well as a few couple portraits in amongst the trees before heading to Hayleigh’s parents house in Horton Kirby, rural Kent. In their garden was a beautiful open-designed marquee with the table layout, a bar and a dance floor for afters along with the beautiful decorations Hayleigh and her mum had crafted. There were speeches, live music, delicious food, bubbly and some big tunes with a good amount of cake in between, as cut by Hayleigh and Sam with the help of a rather large sword that Hayleigh’s dad owns!
It was such a wonderful wedding in the rolling Kent countryside (quite a road trip for me from Yorkshire but well worth every mile). Big thanks to Hayleigh & Sam for being so wonderful, also to their families and other guests who were so welcoming and made the day so special. I absolutely adore all the photos we took and hope they serve as a beautiful reminder for years to come. Here’s to many more Kent weddings, I can’t wait to be back!
