How about this for a lovely autumnal Scottish wedding to feast your eyes upon?! Sam & Ewan’s incredible Fife wedding from November last year was just amazing from start to finish; Sam works as a wedding planner at a local venue so she called in a few favours from wedding supplier pals who did an amazing job at decorating the local community hall in Crail. Not only that but she also designed her own dress and looked just stunning. The ceremony took place at Crail Church, a gorgeous presbyterian kirk with large windows which made my job very easy (natural light inside a church is like gold dust to us photographers!) The ceremony was beautiful and included Ewan’s mum playing the piano throughout and their two children Sophie and Reuben performing a lovely reading. Afterwards we hopped outside for a confetti shot before being escorted by a piper marching up to the community hall.
The decorated hall was a real showstopper. An incredible huge floral wreath hung from the ceiling with flowers and decorations bringing the space to life, the theme was autumnal with lots of oranges and reds providing plentiful colour. Across the road is a small park with gorgeous flower beds where we went for some portraits as the sun went down before heading back to sit down for food. A select few of their guests were invited to the kitchen to help carve and serve the beef with accompanying chef’s hats which obviously caused all manner of hilarity! After speeches there was just time to pop outside for a few quick nighttime portraits before the ceilidh dancing began. We partied and danced late into the night and it was the perfect end to a magnificent day. Thanks so much Sam & Ewan for having me along and everyone involved who made it such a special day. What a team!
