Last August I had the privilege of being invited to Natasha and Tom’s beautiful summer wedding in the surrounds of Solberge Hall. A stunning Georgian house located just outside Northallerton in North Yorkshire, it’s the perfect spot for a country wedding especially when the sun shines as hard as it did for these two. It was such a fabulous day from start to finish and Natasha and Tom were great sports, we took some beautiful photos and I’m so proud of them all!
We had a lovely relaxing morning with breakfast in the palatial surroundings of the house. Natasha and Tom’s wee boy Ethan stole the show in his formal attire with all the family taking photos and selfies! Natasha had her hair and make up done with her bridesmaids in the master bedroom while Tom got dressed with his groomsmen downstairs. Our bride and groom made the most of the amazing Yorkshire weather by taking the ceremony outdoors, a great option available at Solberge Hall. The guests’ seating was set up on the lawn while bride and groom spoke the vows underneath the garden pavilion - what a setting. The gardens around the venue are beautifully kept and the grounds of the house are the perfect location for some stunning photographs so we made of most of these with our portraits.
After a good amount of mingling and champagne Natasha’s dad completed his speech al fresco and presented Tom with the wonderful gift of a tweed flat cap - formally announcing the groom as an honorary Yorkshireman! Shortly after, all the guests sat down for food and drink in the main hall. Natasha and Tom then performed a speech as did Tom’s best men and we celebrated the day away with beer, bubbly and brownies - what a fabulous occasion it was. Thanks so much to Natasha and Tom and to all the staff at Solberge Hall for making it so special - yet another wonderful Yorkshire wedding!
