Kerry & Max married on what can only be described as a damp September day. Although we didn’t get the weather, they chose the beautiful All Saints Church in Bolton Percy as the venue for their wedding ceremony, and come rain or come shine the church is just stunning inside and out. I covered Max’s preparations at their house in Harrogate in the morning while Kerry’s preparations took place just round the corner at Hornington Manor where the reception was planned for later. The ceremony was perfect, you can tell these two are made for each other from the way they act together to how they look at one another. Also featured was a family friend singing an opera piece in the church while the couple signed the register. Then on to the reception for champagne and nibbles, and we simply didn’t allow the weather dampen our spirits at all - at least not like it had already dampened my shoes! We managed to squeeze in a quick portrait session during a dry spell in the field next door and these two beauties were absolute naturals in front of the camera, posing away as if they’d been modelling all their life! Kerry wore and looked amazing in a stunning Jenny Packham dress and Max wore his dapper suit very well indeed - they just looked perfect together. The teepee in the grounds of Hornington Manor was beautifully decorated and live music was provided by the always entertaining New York Brass Band. They play all the hits of the Top 40 but arranged for a full brass band and I’m a bit in love with them, check them out! What an awesome day, thanks so much Kerry and Max for having me along, I do love a Yorkshire wedding :)
