Rachel and Matt’s glorious July wedding took place at the Town Hall right here in Leeds. It was such a wonderful day and they’re such a lovely couple I just had the biggest smile on my face from start to finish. Bride Rachel and her girls got ready at their flat in Leeds with bubbly and nibbles aplenty, she looked stunning in her gorgeous and subtle wedding dress. I met up with the lads later at Leeds Town Hall where they were preparing for the ceremony and mostly keeping Matt calm and collected! They looked equally dashing in their matching navy blue suits and buttonholes. Rachel later arrived in a fab VW camper van with her folks (what an entrance!)
The ceremony itself was beautiful and we made the most of the incredibly grand tiled entrance to the Town Hall for some lovely photos. Afterwards we popped outside onto the steps for some confetti and group shots before Rachel, Matt and I took a road trip in the camper van to Leeds’ finest Roundhay Park. I took some lovely portraits of the happy couple during a quick walk through the park before heading back to Chapel Allerton and the Mustard Pot pub where all the guests were awaiting our arrival in the garden marquee. There was BBQ, there was bubbly and there was booty shaking! The whole wedding hit the perfect balance between formal chic and relaxed garden fun with their nearest and dearest. The dancing and DJ-ing continued into the wee hours inside the pub as the perfect way to end the celebrations. It was such a gorgeous day and we had the best time - I absolutely love Leeds city weddings and this one was a real treat. Congratulations you two and thanks so much for having me along, I absolutely adore every single one of the photos - what a fab day!
