Isn’t Yorkshire wonderful?! I love having such incredible countryside a short stone’s throw from my front door. Pete & Simone’s Yorkshire wedding was a real showcase of just how wonderful it is when the planets align and the sun pops out for a few hours!
Their gorgeous autumn wedding was a real beauty. Simone and her bridesmaids had their hair and make up done at Weetwood Hall before making their way to church for the ceremony. It took place at St John The Baptist Church in Adel, Leeds which features the most incredible ornate arch over the entrance doorway which I was keen to make use of as it glistened in the October sun. She looked incredible in her dress with bouquet, flower crown and shoes to match and her bridesmaids dresses complimented the whole look beautifully. The natural light coming in to the church from the large stained glass windows was just perfect for photos and I’m so pleased with the results. After the ceremony we were entertained by the couple’s musician friends before heading outside for a few bear hugs and a confetti line.
The reception took place just up the road at the East Keswick Village Hall (a firm favourite venue of mine) which Pete and Simone hand decorated beautifully. There was a Great British Bake Off theme where many guests had baked and brought cakes and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t try a few! As the venue and surrounding fields sparkled in the evening sun I whisked the happy couple off for a few sunset portraits before having a good boogie on the dance floor. It was such a fab day and I’m so pleased we had the weather we did, well done to all involved! Thanks so much for having me and to all the staff at East Keswick Village Hall for looking after me so brilliantly. Congratulations you two!!
